The National Rifle Association of Pakistan on Thursday announced a 10-member squad for the World Shooting Championship which will be held in Azerbaijan next month from August 14 to September 1.
Pakistan’s squad consists of G.M Bashir, Usman Chand, Khurram Inam, Anna Ibtisam, Gulfam Joseph, Farrukh Nadeem and Zafar ul Haq.
Meanwhile, three junior, Rasam Gul, Imam Haroon and Kashmala Talat, players have also been included in the squad.
According to the entry list, GM Bashir will represent Pakistan in the 25-meter rapid-fire pistol.
Usman, Imam Haroon and Khurram Inam will participate in the men's skate while Rasam Gul, Kashmala Talat and Anna Ibtisam will participate in the women's 25m pistol event.
Anna Ibtisam and Kushmala Talat will also participate in the 10m air pistol event.
Kashmala will also participate in the 10m pistol mixed team event with Gulfam.
Gulfam will also compete in the men's 10m air pistol event. Meanwhile, Zafar ul Haq and Farrukh will participate in the trap event.
