Imad Wasim's all-round performance earns Seattle Orcas maiden victory in MLC

Imad Wasim shined with all-round performance as his team Seattle Orcas started Major League Cricket (MLC) season one campaign on a winning note. 

The all-rounder scored 43 not out in a successful run-chase after bowling an economical spell of 4-0-19-1. 

Imad's performance took centre stage on social media and fans praised him for the all-round performance. 

After sending Washington Freedom into bat first, Orcas bowled really well to restrict opponents to 144-7 in 20 overs. 

Apart from Imad, Wayne Parnell and Harmeet Singh bagged two wickets each for Orcas. 

In Reply, Orcas got their opener Nauman Anwar of Pakistan in great touch. The right-handed batter scored 48 off 37 including three boundaries and as many sixes. 

Down the order, Imad scored an unbeaten 43 to help his team chase down 145 runs in the last over. 

In the first match on day two of the league, another Pakistani all-rounder proved his worth. Shadab Khan bagged the best play of the match award for his scintillating 61 runs and a wicket in three overs to contribute to his team San Francisco Unicorns' victory.
