Pakistan team director Mickey Arthur congratulated the national squad which has been picked up for the upcoming two Tests against Sri Lanka next month.
Taking to Twitter, Arthur, who is leading the national supporting staff, asked the players to start the new cycle of the ICC Test championship on a high note.
"Congrats guys.....start the new Test Championship with a bang!" he wrote.
The Sri Lanka Test tour is the first assignment for Arthur after signing a contract with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Grant Bradburn will be the head coach of the national. Andrew Puttick (batting coach) and Morne Morkel (bowling coach) will also be with the coaching staff during Sri Lanka tour.
Young Mohammad Hurraira and Aamer Jamal got their maiden Test call-up. Shaheen Shah Afridi returns to Test squad as Pakistan are all set to start the third cycle of the ICC World Test Championship next month in Sri Lanka.
