Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has accepted the challenge of fighting for the starting spot.
The French midfielder arrived at the club in the summer of 2022 for a record €80m fee from Monaco and has featured in 44 games this season.
However, Madrid’s interest in Borussia Dortmund’s midfielder Jude Bellingham has raised questions about the Frenchman's future at the club.
But according to a Spanish source, Relevo, Tchouameni does not want to give up on his Madrid dream as he is patient and hard working.
It must be noted that the English club Liverpool are heavily interested in the French midfielder.
Liverpool tried to sign Tchouameni last season as well but the 22-year-old preferred a move to the Spanish capital.
However, according to an English source, 90min, the six-time European champions would be willing to sign the Frenchman even if it is on loan.
Madrid are not willing to sell the midfielder for any price as they consider him “one for the future”.
Earlier, Madrid, who are currently trying to complete the signing of Borussia Dortmund’s midfielder Jude Bellingham, will also try to sign PSG's Kylian Mbappe to strengthen the squad.
According to the renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Madrid has already reached an agreement with the English midfielder on personal terms and he cannot wait to join the club.

Madrid have already renewed the contracts of their midfielder pair Luka Modric and Toni Kroos who will stay at the club till 2024. There has been no official announcement yet, as per Spanish sources.
