Babar Azam (L) and Hassan Ali (R) - PCB

Hassan Ali wished to see Babar Azam scoring a hundred in the ongoing fourth ODI against New Zealand in Karachi.

Ali, who is currently representing Warwickshire club in the County season 2023-24, tweeted in favour of Babar.

"Listen Mr King Babar Azam. We want hundred from you today please. I am right?" he wrote.

When this story was filed, Babar was batting at 60 off 69. It was his third consecutive fifty in this series. Overall, it was his 27th ODI fifty.

Babar Azam breaks world record

Pakistan captain Babar Azam became the fastest to 5,000 runs in ODI cricket during the fourth match of the series against New Zealand.

Babar achieved the feat in 97 innings, meanwhile South Africa’s Hashim Amla, who previously held the record, took 101 innings.

Currently, he was leading the charge for Pakistan as they look to post a big total. Pakistan have already won the five-match series 3-0.
