The first half between Crystal Palace and West Ham United resulted in five goals, which is the joint most in a first half in the Premier League this season, on Saturday.

Palace score three goals, meanwhile West Ham notched up two in the first half.

Earlier, the match between Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur also led to five goals in the first half — all of which were scored by the Magpies.

Declan Rice made his 200th Premier League appearance as West Ham United make two changes for their match against Crystal Palace.

Emerson and Pablo Fornals returned to the starting XI, with the Hammers otherwise unchanged from the 2-1 loss against Liverpool on Wednesday. Aaron Cresswell and Saïd Benrahma were benched as a result.

Rice is the ninth youngest player to reach 200 Premier League games and becomes only the sixth Hammer to achieve the milestone.

For Palace, Wilfried Zaha returned to the starting XI after recovering from injury and was one of three changes made from Tuesday’s defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The other two switches to the starting XI were in the shape of Joel Ward and Jeffrey Schlupp, with Will Hughes, Luka Milivojevic and Sambi Lokonga all dropping to the bench.
