India's wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant came back to a cricket field for the first time after partially recovering from a horrific car accident.
Rishabh, who got injured severely in a car accident last year, was spotted on a cricket field for the first time during the seventh match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season 16 between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans.
Taking to Twitter, IPL's official account posted the video of Rishabh's arrival at the cricket field after so long.
Fans chanted 'we want Rishabh' as soon as they spotted the star cricketer in the stands. The wicketkeeper batter also received a warm welcome on social media.
Last year, Rishabh met car accident on his way from Dehli to hometown Roorkee after he hit road dividers. Luckily, the cricketer came out of the car, which caught fire, and was taken to the hospital immediately.
The cricketer went through surgery with the support of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and local government.
Due to injuries, Rishabh remained out of cricket action for months and also missed the ongoing IPL season 16.
