Manchester United defeated Manchester City 2-1 in the Premier League derby on Saturday.
Jack Grealish gave Manchester City the lead in the 60th minute after the first-half ended goalless.
However, United made a grand comeback as they scored two goals within four minutes to put their opponents on the back foot.
Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford were the goal scorers for Erik Ten Hag’s side.
United moved to within one point of their local rivals in the Premier League table after inflicting a damaging blow to City´s hopes of retaining the title.
There was an element of controversy about United's equaliser in the 78th minute, with Rashford initially flagged offside as Bruno Fernandes swept the ball home, with the goal given following a VAR review.
Rashford was then the hero once again for United, scoring for the seventh successive match in all competitions to snatch a thrilling late win for the hosts, who made it nine victories in a row in all competitions to close the gap to City in second.
According to Opta, 27 of Rashford's 67 Premier League goals have been the winning goal of the game, the highest percentage of any player with 50+ goals in the competition's history (40.3%).
Rashford also became the first Manchester United player to score in seven consecutive games in all competitions since Cristiano Ronaldo in 2008.
