The UEFA Champions League 2023/24 quarter-final matches have been confirmed with eight teams going all the way to compete for the title.
After the conclusion of the round of 16 encounters where fans witnessed breathtaking encounters like Atletico Madrid vs Inter Milan, and Arsenal vs FC Porto that were decided on penalties, the fans are in for a treat for some more spectacular clashes.
UCL Quarter-finals:
Arsenal vs Bayern Munich
Atletico de Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund
Real Madrid vs Manchester City
Paris Saint-Germain vs Barcelona
The first legs of the quarters will be played on April 9 and 10th while the second legs will take place on 16 and 17 April.
Manchester City and Real Madrid, two of the tournament’s favourite teams, will be taking on one another for the third consecutive time after locking horns in the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons.
On the other hand, Barcelona will take on Paris Saint-Germain, which will be their first quarter-final appearance since 2020 while Arsenal will face Bayern Munich, which will be their quarter-final match since 2010.
Remember, this is the 69th season of Europe's elite club competition and the 32nd since it was renamed the UEFA Champions League.
The 2023-24 UEFA Champions League final will take place at London's historic Wembley Stadium.
Real Madrid have won the Champions League 14 times, which is the most in history. They are followed by AC Milan who have seven titles in their trophy cabinet.
Manchester City are the defending as Pep Guardiola’s men clinched the title in June 2023 after beating Inter Milan in a nail-biter courtesy of Rodri’s second-half strike that helped them claim their first European trophy.
