Mickey Arthur, Grant Bradburn, and Andrew Puttick, who were assigned responsibilities at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore following a change in their roles after poor performances in the World Cup 2023, have tendered their resignations from their respective positions, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed on Thursday.

All three individuals have communicated their decision to resign from their respective roles to PCB, effective by the end of January 2024. The decision was made amicably among all stakeholders.

The PCB has extended best wishes to them in their future pursuits and expressed gratitude for their contributions.

In April 2023, Arthur assumed the role of Director of the Pakistan men’s cricket team, while Bradburn was appointed as the head coach of the Pakistan national men’s side earlier in the previous year.

Former South African cricketer Puttick has been serving as Pakistan’s batting coach since April 2023.

Before his recent appointment, Arthur served as the head coach of the Pakistan Men's Cricket Team from 2016 to 2019, during which Pakistan achieved the No. 1 position in the ICC Test team rankings and secured victory in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy. Arthur has also previously held the position of head coach for South Africa, Australia, and Sri Lanka in international cricket.

The 57-year-old Bradburn served as the fielding coach of the Pakistan men’s team from 2018 to 2020 before assuming the role of Head of High-Performance Coaching at NCA until October 2021. Under his tenure as head coach last year, Pakistan attained the No. 1 spot in the ICC ODI team rankings.

Remember, Puttick was the first one to leave after he was appointed as the batting coach of the Afghanistan men's cricket team.

Meanwhile, Grant Bradburn left last week as he is poised to join Glamorgan as head coach next month after signing a three-year deal.

Mickey Arthur is already serving as the Director of Derbyshire County. He was doing a dual job with Pakistan Cricket as the Director of the men's team.
