Individual accolades or team titles, the Argentine leads in all as he has also won the Ballon d’Or seven times and the Golden Boot six times, which is the most by any player in history.

The Leagues Cup final between Inter Miami and Nashville ended 1-1 after 90 minutes. The game went to penalties and Messi’s teammates held their nerves and scored 10 out of 11 penalties and clinched the title.

Messi scored an absolute stunner in the 27th minute of the game after dribbling his opponent and then curled the ball into the top-left corner, a goal similar to the one he scored against AC Milan in the 2012-13 Champions League season.
