The American social media personality Jake Paul’s manager Nakisa Bidarian made a big claim ahead of his fight against the UFC legend Nate Diaz.
Bidarian believes that a lot is at stake for Paul on Saturday night and his boxing career is on the line as well.
Paul is in the last stages of his fight preparations as he is set to return to the boxing ring for the first time since February 2023 after losing to Tommy Fury by a split decision and is now all set to take on another MMA legend Nate Diaz on August 5 at the American Airlines Center, Texas.
"He may retire if he loses to Nate Diaz," Birdarian told ESPN. "His boxing career is on the line, in terms of being one of the top three or four guys in the entire sport globally.
"I think if he was to lose, he'd just go to being another prospect that's coming up in the ring."
However, should Paul win, he will have his eyes on facing the winner of the match between Tyson Fury and KSI on October 14.
Paul also gave his prediction on the fifth and said: “I think Tommy knocks him out in like less than five rounds."
This fight for Paul will not be like the ones he won in the past, he will be facing an actual fighter who fought inside the octagon for over 15 years.
It must be noted that Diaz finished his contract with the UFC after a win against Tony Ferguson in the main event of UFC 279 on September 11, 2022, and is now all set to test himself in the boxing ring.
The 38-year-old MMA legend made his UFC debut in 2007 against Manny Gamburyan with a win. He then went on a five-match winning streak before finally tasting his first defeat in the Octagon at the hands of Clay Guida in January 2009 at UFC 94.
