Former UFC Champion Conor McGregor has expressed his desire to see a fight between the Chief Executive Officer of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg with the Chief Executive Officer of Tesla Motors Elon Musk but only on one condition.
McGregor is gassed up to see the two billionaires fighting each other. However, the Notorious has one condition if the fight takes place, it should be in UFC.
“I’m interested," McGregor told the Daily Mail. “Are they gonna go ahead with it? Are they gonna make it happen?
“If it happens under the UFC banner, I’m with it. It has to happen under the UFC banner,” he added.
It must be mentioned that Zuckerberg was seen training with UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski in a Tweet from Adesanya on Tuesday (July 11).
While Zuckerberg is heavily active to maintain his fitness, Musk has not been messing around as he, too, was seen training with the former MMA star Georges St-Pierre (GSP) last week.
It must be noted that Zuckerberg has been undergoing jiu-jitsu training and has also won medals in competitions while Musk has been involved in a number of fights during his time in South Africa, according to the UFC boss Dana White.
It all started on June 21 when Musk responded to a report Zuckerberg was going to launch his own version of Twitter, to which Elon responded, "I'm up for a cage match if he is lol [laugh out loud]".
The Facebook founder got wind of the tweet and decided to send up a message of his own, writing "Send me location," which suggests that he is really serious about the fight.
However, a new spark between the two lighten up quickly since Zuckerberg — who with the help of all the fired Twitter employees — opened his own similar-to-Twitter application named “Thread” and Musk’s legal people sent a stern letter threatening Meta with a lawsuit.
