Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has finalised their squad for home Test series against Pakistan, the Sri Lankan media reported.
In a report published in The Sunday Times, Sri Lanka on Friday, Sri Lanka's squad has been sent to the country's sports minister for approval.
Under the leadership of Dimuth Karunaratne, Sri Lanka will play two Tests against Pakistan at home from July 16.
The expected squad includes Karunaratne (captain), Kusal Mendis, Angelo Mathews, Dinesh Chandimal, Dhananjaya de Silva, Kamindu Mendis, Nishan Madushka (wk), Sadeera Samarawickrama, Ramesh Mendis, Prabath Jayasuriya, Lakshitha Manasinghe, Praveen Jayawickrama, Asitha Fernando/Dilshan Madushka, Vishwa Fernando, and Kasun Rajitha.
Meanwhile, Pakistan team has reached Hambantota for a two-day warm-up match ahead of the important series. It must be noted here that the Test series will be the start of the third ICC Test Championship cycle for both teams.
