Pakistan's former captain and head coach Misbah-ul-Haq credited Qalandars High Performance Centre (QHPC) for grooming his son Faham-ul-Haq.

In a video message, Misbah said his son has shown massive improvement during last six to eight months while training in QHPC.

"They [QHPC] provide excellent environment to the players. There is every facility available to the players which can enhance their skills," he said.

"My son has been training here for last six to eight months and I have seen massive improvement in him. I am fully satisfied with the way they train kids in fully equipped environment," he added.

Misbah had represented Pakistan 75 Tests, 162 ODIs, and 39 T20Is. He was fittest cricketer even at the age of 42 when he took retirement from international cricket. Under his captaincy, Pakistan won their only Test Mace in 2016.

The cricketer-turned-analyst also appreciated Qalandars' focus on fielding and fitness. "Fielding has always been an issue in Pakistan cricket. But at QHPC, they have developed high fielding and fitness standards which help players grow in a younger age," he mentioned.

Misbah feels that players, produced by QHPC, will be ready to play international cricket immediately. "I am confident that in these facilities players will become competent enough to play at highest level. I wish them [Lahore Qalandars] good luck and expect more quality players coming from their side in the future," he concluded.
