Pakistani players, who are part of Test squad and attended a four-day training camp in Karachi, congratulated their teammate Haris Rauf on his wedding.
In a video shared by Shaheen Shah Afridi on Twitter, Babar Azam alongside other players congratulated the express fast bowler.
"Harry, congratulations on your wedding," the players cheered. "Live long my friend," Afridi added.
Rauf's wedding festivity started with dholki event, which took place on July 5. The videos of the event, featuring the groom, went viral on social media.
Exuberant dancing and qawwali were the centre of attention in a fun night for Rauf and his close family members.
The baraat took place on Thursday whereas reception is scheduled for tonight.
Pakistan team players, who are in Karachi, will not be able to attend the reception in Islamabad.
According to sources, Pakistan team management hasn't allowed players to travel to Rawalpindi due to poor weather. The national team is scheduled to travel to Sri Lanka for Test series on Saturday [July 8].
As per the initial plan, players were scheduled to travel to Rawalpindi from Karachi today in the evening and set to return in the afternoon on Saturday. But due to poor weather and rain forecast in the country following monsoon season, the team management has decided against taking any risk.
