Top-six CS-GO players to be absent from Paris Major 2023

The Paris Major 2023 is set to take place with Counter Strike talents all over the world. Unfortunately, the historical competition will be without some of the best players in the game. 

The top six players that will be missing the competition are mentioned below;

1- Marcelo David:

Also known as “Coldzera”, the South-American is considered as one of the greatest players in CSGO. The Brazilian has achieved almost every award that this game has to offer. He is one of the three players who has topped HLTV’s player rankings twice, and has also won back-to-back major titles.

2- Sergey Rykhtorov:

Also known as “Ax1Le”, the 21-year-old Russian gamer has earned a number of notable achievements, recently being named the 4th best player of the year 2022 by HLTV. He was also named MVP of IEM Dallas in 2022 by HLTV.

3- Dzhami Ali:

Also known as “Jame”, the 24-year-old Russian gamer is currently playing for Virtus.pro. Jame caught the attention of CSGO fans after his world class performance for the Kazakhstani side – Avangar. He led his team Virtus.pro to the IEM Rio 2022 title with his impressive performance.

4- Nicolai Reedtz:

Also known as “dev1ce”, the 27-year-old is a professional CSGO player, currently playing for Atralis, became the first to win 4 majors in CS:GO, and to win 3 majors consecutively. Dev1ce took a brief break from the game to address his mental health issues.

5- Kenny Schrub:

Also known as “kennyS”, the 27-year-old is a professional French CSGO player, currently playing for “Team Falcons”. He was named "eSports Player of the Year" at The Game Awards 2015. The Frenchman was looking forward to playing a Major on home soil for the first time in his career, but he was out of the Paris Major qualification race as Falcons lost four out of their six European RMR outings.

6- Gabriel Toledo:

Also known as “FalleN”, the 31-year-old is a professional Brazilian CSGO player, currently playing for “Imperials”. He has been playing Counter Strike since last 14 years, and won the two Major titles. HE was at the top of his game in 2016 when he won the MLG Columbus and ESL One Cologne Majors with Luminosity Gaming and SK Gaming respectively.
