Imad Wasim bowls in BPL 2023 - BPL

Imad Wasim finished Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2023 on a high note as he played his last match today for Sylhet Strikers before returning to Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8.

While representing Strikers against Khulna Tigers today, Imad bowled brilliantly, conceding just 10 runs in four overs and took two wickets.

Imad's bowling spell helped Strikers restrict Tigers 113 for eight wickets. Set to chase 114 runs, Strikers cruised to the target easily with six wickets in hands.

The left-handed all-rounder will return to the country tonight to join his Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Karachi Kings.

Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 champions Karachi Kings will start their training ahead of the eighth edition from February 9.

Kings, who are scheduled to open their PSL 8 campaign against Peshawar Zalmi on February 14 at Karachi's National Stadium, will hold their first training session under lights.

Under the leadership of Babar Azam, Kings lost nine out of 10 matches last season.

This year, they traded Babar with Shoaib Malik from Peshawar Zalmi.

Meanwhile, all-rounder Imad Wasim will return as captain. It must be noted that Imad led the Kings to their maiden title triumph in 2020.
