The Australia’s Prime Minister’s XI reached 149-2 in reply to Pakistan’s 391-9, declared, on the second day of the four-day match in Canberra on Thursday.
Pakistan captain Shan Masood scored a brilliant double ton for the visitors to help his side post a total close to 400. The left-hander notched up an unbeaten 201 with the help of 14 fours and a six.
However, Pakistan's bowlers failed to take many wickets as the home side only lost two in 60 overs.
Cameron Bancroft scored 53, meanwhile Marcus Harris added 49 runs.
Pacer Khurram Shahzad and spinner Abrar Ahmed claimed one wicket each for Pakistan.
