LAHORE: Pakistan all-rounder Faheem Ashraf is set to tie the knot later this month on November 25.

According to sources, Faheem’s mehendi will take place on November 23, followed by the wedding on November 25 and the valima a day later.

The wedding will take place in Narowal while the valima reception will be held in Faheem’s hometown, Phool Nagar.

The left-hander has played 16 Tests, 34 ODIs and 48 T20Is over the course of his career for Pakistan. He made his T20I and ODI debut in 2017, while his first appearance in the Test format came in 2018.

It must be noted that Pakistan’s pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi tied the knot with legendary all-rounder Shahid Afridi’s daughter, Ansha, in February earlier this year. The nikkah was solemnised at a local mosque in Karachi in presence of close relatives of both families.

Shaheen’s wedding and valima was held on September 19 and September 21, respectively. The couple’s engagement had already taken place two years ago.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s cricket team opener, Imam-ul-Haq, is set to get married to a Norwegian girl on November 25 after the ICC World Cup 2023.

The wedding festivities will start from November 23 in Lahore, sources reported last month.

The Qawwali night will also take place on November 23, although the name of the performing group has not been revealed yet.

The 27-year-old’s nikkah ceremony will be held on November 25 while the date of the valima reception is November 26.
