Pep Guardiola loves to make history wherever he goes and he has done it once again with Manchester City.

Guardiola, 52, became the quickest manager to 200 Premier League (PL) wins in just 269 games, 53 games fewer than Sir Alex Ferguson who did it in 322 games.

It happened on Sunday after City beat Sheffield United 2-1 thanks to an 87th-minute strike by their midfielder Rodri.

In 269 games he managed, the Spaniard has 200 wins, 34 draws and only 35 losses. The European champions scored a total of 665 goals under him and conceded 216.

Other than that, Pep has also won five PL titles in just seven years with the Manchester Club and last season with his PL triumph, he became the first manager in football history to have won the league title three consecutive times in the Premier League, La Liga and Bundesliga.

He achieved this feat in La Liga while managing FC Barcelona, where he won the league titles from 2009 to 2011. In Bundesliga, he did it while managing Bayern Munich as he dominated the domestic competitions from 2014 to 2016.

Man City won their third successive PL title under Guardiola last season. The last team to achieve this feat in the PL was Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United who also won three successive league titles from 2007 to 2009.

He has also won the PL Manager Of The Month (MOTM) award a record 11 times, more than the likes of Jose Mourinho, Rafael Benitez, David Moyes, Claudio Ranieri and other top coaches in the PL history.

Outside England, Pep led City to their first-ever UEFA Champions League title as his side beat Inter Milan 1-0 in the final and won the treble.

Pep has been creating history since the day he stepped in Manchester and there seems to be no threat to his dynasty.

Even though Mikel Arteta's Arsenal came very close to winning the league title last season but they were dethroned by Guardiola's men and eventually ended up losing the PL by five points.
