South Africa women’s cricket team squad has been announced for the upcoming Pakistan tour, scheduled in September.
The series, which includes three T20Is and as many ODIs, will be held next month in Karachi.
The squad contains 12 players who were part of their memorable T20 World Cup campaign.
Sune Luus will not lead her side as the Proteas will announce a new captain in the coming days.
The visitors will be without one of their important players Chloe Tryon who has requested a leave of absence.
Another player that will not play against the Green Shirts is Annerie Derckson as she is recovering from a finger injury.
On the other hand, wicketkeeper Mieke de Ridder could make her international debut as she has been called up. All-rounder Nondumiso Shangase is also a part of the squad although she played her last match for her side in 2021.
