ICC World Cup 2023 Qualifiers points table after Scotland, Oman register wins

Scotland and Oman won their respective matches in group B on Wednesday— ICC

Scotland defeated Ireland by one wicket after a very close game in the seventh match of the ICC World Cup Qualifiers 2023 in group B as they chased the target of 286 on the last ball of the innings on Wednesday at the Queens Sports Club in Zimbabwe.

Meanwhile, in the eighth match in group B, Oman comfortably defeated UAE after chasing the target of 228 runs in the 46th over at the Bulawayo Athletic Club Sports Grounds on the same day.

The top three teams from each group will move on to the Super Six stage, where they will only play the sides they did not meet in the group stage.

All points won in the group stage will be carried over to the Super Six stage apart from those gained against the teams that fail to make it to the Super Six stage. The finalists will both progress to the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.
