Former West Indian cricketer Ian Bishop shared his favourite cricketers from different countries.

In an ESPNcricinfo video, Bishop, who is a renowned voice in world cricket, was asked about his favourite cricketers from England, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India, and his home country West Indies.

Bishop named former cricketers from almost all countries except Bangladesh and Pakistan. He named Robin Smith from England, Kumar Sangakkara from Sri Lanka, Sachin Tendulkar from India, and Brian Lara from West Indies.

From Bangladesh, he picked Tamim Iqbal who is much older than Babar Azam who is the favourite of Bishop from Pakistan. Babar is recognised as one of the greatest batters in the current era.

Babar, Pakistan's captain in all three formats, recently became fastest batter to score 5000 runs in ODIs. He took 97 innings to achieve this feat, leaving behind South Africa's Hashim Amla who scored as many runs in 101 innings. He also became the fastest batter to reach 18 centuries in the 50-over format.

Under his leadership, Pakistan recently grabbed the top rank in the ICC rankings for the first time in history. The green shirts beat New Zealand in first four ODIs at home to sit in the number one position. After losing the fifth ODI against Kiwis, Pakistan lost its first position.
