Afghanistan's leg-spinner Rashid Khan is one of the prominent figures in world cricket right now.

The bowling all-rounder has changed the landscape of cricket back at his home. He inspired the young generation to take up cricket as a profession.

Due to his impact on world cricket, currently, five Afghanistan players are playing in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season 16. Rahmanullah Gurbaz is representing Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Fazalhaq Farooqi is playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Noor Ahmed is featuring for Gujarat Titans (GT), and Naveen-ul-Haq is representing Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

Rashid is also representing GT in the ongoing 16th IPL. He has so far bagged joint second-highest wickets (19) in the tournament.

Meanwhile, a softer mood video with Rashid was shared on Titans' Twitter account in which the cricketer showed his kit bag. The right-arm batter, who has a handsome record in batting, expressed his love for bats.

"I carry five to six bats with me in the game, otherwise I have at least 10 bats on any tour," shared Rashid. "I love my bats. I check my bats daily and it gives me immense pleasure," he added.

From PSL to Pakistan series to IPL

Rashid has been roaring in T20 cricket. This year, he started his dominance in Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8 where his team defended their title. The leg-spinner bagged 20 wickets to remain third highest wicket-taker in the tournament.

Later on, Rashid led Afghanistan to a historic series victory against Pakistan. Rashid-led Afghanistan faced Pakistan in a three-match T20I series in March. The men in blue beat Pakistan 2-1 to register their first-ever series win over neighbours.

Thereafter, Rashid started his IPL campaign with a man-of-the-match award. While representing defending champions GT against CSK in the tournament's opener, Rashid bagged two for 26 in his four overs and also scored 10 runs off three balls to receive the best player of the match award.
