The 26-time Spanish champions FC Barcelona (FCB) will be doing some serious business in the upcoming transfer window.
Ansu Fati, Ferran Torres, Jordi Alba, Franck Kessie and Eric Garcia are the names that are circulating the most in transfer news.
According to a Spanish newspaper Diario Sport, FCB are in advanced talks with the English club Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves) for the permanent sale for €30M-plus Portuguese midfielder Ruben Neves.
It must be noted that Ansu Fati has not been a regular starter at Barca ever since his ACL injury.
Ferran Torres is another player for whom FCB received an offer from another English club, Aston Villa. According to a British newspaper, The Telegraph, Villa are willing to pay around €60m for the Spanish winger.
While offloading the players, FCB are also in the market to buy a number of players. Manchester City’s Ilkay Gundogan and the Moroccan national Sofyan Amrabat are the top priority for the Spanish club.
Amrabat would cost the Spanish team around €25-€30m, as per the sources.
Argentine world champion Lionel Messi is also eyeing a return to his old home, Barcelona, which he left in the summer of 2021 in a shocking move to the French club Paris Saint German (PSG).
According to a Spanish journalist Gerard Romero, there is still a big chance of Messi joining his former club but the interest from Saudia Arabia in the last few weeks has changed feelings around Leo’s entourage as they told him that they also intent to sign his former teammates Alba, Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez.
Barcelona are also keeping an eye on the RB Leipzig’s Dani Olmo, whose contract expires in June 2024 and Villarreal’s Juan Foyth, who is currently on the radar of both Real Madrid and Barcelona.
FCB will also be pushing for Athletic Bilbao’s Inigo Martinez and Atletico Madrid’s Yannick Carrasco, as per SPORT.
