Pakistan's prominent mountaineer Sajid Sadpara praised fellow female mountaineers Naila Kiyani and Nadi.
Sajid alongside his group climbed Mt Annapurna (8091m) followed by Naila, Nadi, and Shehroze Kashif. The Pakistani mountaineers hoisted Pakistan's flag at the top of world's 10th highest mountain last week.
Taking to Twitter, Sajid lauded Naila and Nadi. "So proud of these strong women Naila Kiyani & Nadi, who climbed Mt Annapurna (8091m), side by side us and raised Pakistani flag on the top. Great to see young females entering Adventure Sports and all other walks of life. Together for progressive Pakistan," he wrote.
On April 15, Sajid, who is the son of legendary mountaineer late Mohammad Ali Sadpara, added another feather to his cap as he summitted Mount Annapurna without supplemental oxygen. The mountain is located in the range of Nepal where world's highest Mount Everest is also standing.
Sajid aims to climb all 14 highest peaks in the world without supplemental oxygen.
So far without supplemental oxygen, he has climbed K2, Manaslu, Gasherbrum I and II.
In the coming days, Sajid is aiming to summit Mount Makalu, Mount Kangchenjunga, and Mount Dhaulagiri.
Sajid's father Ali lost his life during his summit of K2 in the winter in 2021. He and his team went missing on their way back from the top.
