Hard-hitter Ayesha Naseem stolen the limelight by creating massive impact during Pakistan vs India game of the ongoing ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2023.
Ayesha, who came to bat when Pakistan were 68-4 in 12.1 overs, struck the ball all around the park to help Pakistan get to 149-4 in 20 overs. The right-handed batter smashed 25-balls 43 laced with two boundaries and as many maximums.
While reacting to her performance, cricket fans and followers termed her performance as match-saving for Pakistan.
Apart from Ayesha, skipper Bismah Maroof stood firm and took all the pressure on herself to keep the scoreboard ticking.
The left-handed batter remained not out for 68 off 55 balls laced with seven boundaries.
Opener Muneeba Ali made 12 runs whereas Sidra Ameen contributed just 11. Bismah and Ayesha scored 58 runs in last five overs.
For India, Radha Yadav bagged two wickets while Deepti Sharma and Pooja Vastrakar shared a wicket apiece.
