Pakistan's young female pacer Fatima Sana’s wish has finally been fulfilled.
On Sunday, Fatima met her childhood hero and Australia’s veteran cricketer Ellyse Perry.
Sana, who won the young women's cricketer award last year, met Perry on the sidelines of their third T20I match against Australia in Canberra which was washed out.
Australia Women's Cricket Team shared a video on their official Twitter handle, where Sana interacts with Perry.
Sana asked the 32-year-old about increasing pace.
Perry lauded Sana for his bowling and gave the youngster some bowing tips.
Earlier, after the last one-day international of the series between the two teams, Cricket Australia posted a video where Sana could be seen asking Jessica Jonassen to introduce her to Perry.
"Can I talk to Perry?" Sana asked Jonassen.
In response, Jonassen advised Sana to speak with Perry directly while understanding her reluctance.
"Do you look up to Ellyse? she then asked Sana. To which, she replied: "Yes, I was 11 when she was winning the World Cup."
It should be noted here that Australia secured a clean sweep over Pakistan in the three-match ODI series, and won three-match T20I series 2-0 with a match being washed out.
