New Zealand Cricket chief David White has heaped massive praise on the "great cricketing nation" Pakistan during the ongoing series between the two sides.
In less than a year, New Zealand are the third SENA country to tour Pakistan after Australia and England.
In a video shared by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), White said: "Playing cricket in Pakistan is brilliant. The conditions are different, but this is such a great cricketing nation. There are some of the best players in the world [in the Pakistan squad]. It's a great experience playing cricket in Pakistan."
White, who made his international debut for New Zealand during the ODI and Test series against Pakistan in Karachi in 1990, said the visitors are having a great time in Pakistan.
"It's been fantastic. We have been very well looked after. The security has been fantastic, and the cricket has been amazing. So we are having a great time. We are enjoying the hospitality and the quality of the cricket. We feel very safe and secure, and we are very much enjoying it," the former spinner said.
In September 2021, New Zealand pulled out of their tour of Pakistan due to a "security alert" from their government. The Kiwis were set to play three ODIs and five T20Is across Rawalpindi and Lahore as part of their tour of Pakistan.
However, amid the ongoing tour, White is completely satisfied with the security and safety in Pakistan as he repeating reiterated that the Black Caps and the international community have a lot of confidence in Pakistan.
"The international community have now a lot of confidence in the security provisions in Pakistan. The Pakistan government have done a great job, working closely with the PCB. I think cricket will continue fully in Pakistan and other international teams will come with a lot of confidence," the former cricketer said.
"The security is phenomenal. The planning and the resources put into the whole process is second to none," he added.
Moreover, the NZC chief said he believes that more countries will be touring Pakistan in the future.
"Everyone is gonna be touring here now. Of course, Pakistan are a very strong country, on and off the field. I would like to think that international cricket will be played here fully in the future," White said.
After the two-match Test series ended in a draw, the ODI series, consisting of three matches, is tied at 1-1.
The third and final clash of the ODI series will be staged at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi on Friday.
