The World Championship of Legends (WCL) T20 League is set to return for its highly anticipated second season in the July-August window next year, following a successful debut season earlier this year.
The tournament will feature legendary cricketers from six nations, including India, Australia, England, Pakistan, South Africa, and the West Indies.
The inaugural match will kick off on July 18, with the England Champions taking on the Pakistan Champions at the iconic Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham.
The highly anticipated clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan is scheduled for July 20 at the same venue.
In anticipation of the upcoming season, Harshit Tomar, the CEO of WCL, shared his excitement:
“WCL Season 1 delivered an incredible fan experience, and we are committed to making Season 2 even better. Our focus remains on creating unforgettable moments for viewers across the globe," said Tomar.
WCL co-owner and Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn, known for his role in Singham, expressed optimism about the league’s growth:
“I am happy to see larger associations and the league getting bigger and better every year. We truly believe Season 2 will also claim the highest viewership across the globe. Stay tuned as many exciting announcements about the league are in the offing," Ajay said.
