The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Sunday announced the schedule of the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 which will be played in Bangladesh from October 3.
Pakistan are placed in Group A alongside six-time winners Australia, arch-rivals India, New Zealand and a team yet to qualify.
The ninth edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup will begin on October 3 with England taking on South Africa in Dhaka.
Each team will engage in four group-stage matches and after its conclusion, the top two teams from each group will make their way to the semi-final — scheduled to be played on October 17th and 18th — and the winners there will play the final on October 20 in Dhaka.
A total of 23 matches will be played in Dhaka and Sylhet, spanning 19 days. Reserve days for semi-finals and final have already been placed if their need arises.
