Former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is known to have a comical personality as the 2011 World Cup-winning captain has often been seen joking around and messing with his teammates and the 42-year-old once again won the internet with an unexpected advertisement.
Dhoni, who is currently representing Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, graced the world with his singing skills as he was heard singing one of the most popular songs, “Bole Jo Koyal”, which is originally sung by Falguni Pathak.
In the advertisement, Dhoni is seen riding the e-bike and singing his version of the song which grabbed the headlines and made the internet go crazy.
The 42-year-old is accompanied by two CGI “koyals” during his ride and the birds, just like everyone, can be seen enjoying Dhoni’s version of the song.

Dhoni is a fan of music, which is no secret to anyone. He has often been spotted enjoying Bollywood’s classics from the 90s and he even announced his retirement with a video which had his favourite song playing in the background.
The song, Bole Jo Koyal, has been associated with the 42-year-old ever since an old video of him dancing to the song went viral.
Earlier, Dhoni extended his record of most dismissals by a wicketkeeper in T20 format to 300 during the IPL 2024 match against Delhi Capitals.
He became the only keeper to record 300 dismissals in this format. The next best record to Dhoni is by Dinesh Karthik and Kamran Akmal - 274.
The dismissal came when the 42-year-old Dhoni caught Prithvi Shaw’s outside edge off Ravindra Jadeja.
List of most dismissals by a wicketkeeper in T20s:
1) MS Dhoni - 300
2) Dinesh Karthik - 274
3) Kamran Akmal - 274
4) Quinton de Kock - 270
5) Jos Buttler - 209
